Chicken with Chilli Jam.
Welcome to the Busy Student Kitchen Blog!
This recipe is one of the simplest and quickest to make, allowing you to save time and energy on any heavy clean up, leaving more time to focus on your studying.
You also have the option to build this recipe if you want to add more flavour with the ‘chicken seasoning’ or if you are lacking on the veggies feel free to add in some peppers, onions, broccoli, or any vegetable you like.
Once you get comfortable with the recipe you can really get creative and make it your own.

Utensils.
We all know University halls don’t give radical amounts of space for cooking utensils. Luckily this recipe only requires one pan. Other helpful tools include a spatula for cooking the chicken, and a spoon for mixing the chilli jam, this is recommended for an easier process but if you don’t have these tools feel free to just use a spoon for both – don’t be fooled when they tell you that you need fancy tools to make these recipes work.
Okay, lets jump into the recipe.
Step 2: Once your chicken is cooked, pop your rice into the microwave for the given time and ensure to tear the top of the packet so that the rice cooks fully.
Step 3: Turn down your hob heat, add in the rice packet and around 3 scoops of chilli jam.
Step 4: Plate up your dish then add your mozzarella on top for an added cheesy extra!
That’s one I’m going to try, it looks delicious. Thanks.
